Vocals & Verses is an event dedicated to showcasing the finest spoken word and live music in the UK. Performed the sonnets immersive poetry session at the vocal and verses black history month event at streatham space project

The video here is of a poem titled self-love from the sonnets set that captures the struggle of what it means to love yourself. This was performed while the audience entered words that describes what love means to them which was project on screen in realtime.

28.08.2022 immersive poetry experience - sonnets

Performed sonnets to a crowd of 60 at another Diaspora Reflections event titled Garden tales in collaboration with London Maya at Pitanga resturant.

02.07.2022 immersive poetry experience - sonnets

Created an immersive poetry experience for an audience of 150 using machine learning with the help of GPT2 model for the Diaspora reflections launch event.

Diaspora Reflections is a storytelling platform that connects African creatives with members of the diaspora and beyond.

Dilemmas of Belonging was their inaugural festival on July 2nd, which was celebrating all the things we love about Africa, while acknowledging the daily struggles and joys of the African Diaspora in the West and beyond. 

 The lineup provided a space for a mix of established and up and coming diasporan artists sharing their stories via music, art, poetry, and tastes.

About A Flower is an interactive online experience delivered via a web application, that uses sound and storytelling to entertain and relax.
It includes original sounds created by Iliana Diaz Lopez and an original story based off Yoruba mythology written by Bunmi

The intention for the project was to give people a little escape during this lockdown and to help you relax with the sounds and keep you entertained with the story at the end of the experience.

Love vs Fear and My Mother’s Prayers is a new experimental interactive play that follows the thoughts of Kike as she tries to follow her heart despite pressures from her pushy religious mother and cultural differences as Nigerian in Diaspora.
What makes the play even more unique is how technology is used to make the audience feel involved and part of the story.
